Our tools apply published tax brackets, contribution rates, VAT rates and standard financial formulas to the numbers you enter. All calculations run in your browser.
Data and sources
Tax and contribution rules are based on publicly available government and tax authority information for the year stated on each page. Currency rates are European Central Bank reference rates. Rules change often, so figures can be out of date.
What is simplified
Net salary and freelancer results are estimates for a single person without children and exclude regional taxes, church tax, special regimes and individual deductions. Mortgage and loan results use the standard annuity formula and exclude fees and insurance.
